Sueños Vivos is a Day of the Dead Altar for El Museo Del Barrio. It is a tribute to anyone who has ever dreamed and worked hard for a better life, specifically the people that have lost their lives crossing into the United States.
The photographers are from El Colegio de la Frontera Norte (COLEF) archive taken by Roberto Cordova, Carla Reynosa, Norma Iglesias and Alfonso Caraveo. The ceramic work is by Fernanda Uribe from Tijuana, Mexico, who runs Punto Verde Ceramics, a sculptural project created in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
